The javinfo developer dashboard

app.javinfo.dev is the direct route to the API. Sign up, grab a key, see your usage in real time. No RapidAPI dependency, no third-party billing.

There are no plans to pick. Every key sees every provider and every field; the only account state that matters is your balance and, once you’ve topped up, a higher rate limit.

Keys

Settings → API keys mints as many keys as you want. Name them (production, laptop, whatever) so the usage log stays readable later. A new key is shown once, at creation, with a copy button, and is not shown again. Keys are prefixed jvi_ and go in the x-javinfo-key header:

Call the API with a dashboard key
curl -X POST "https://api.javinfo.dev/movie" \
-H "x-javinfo-key: jvi_YOUR_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{ "q": "SSIS-001" }'

Each key has an enable/disable switch and a revoke button. Disable is the reversible one: requests with that key stop working, the key stays in the list, flip it back when you want it. Revoke is permanent. Keys don’t expire on their own.

Usage

The usage page is a log, not a summary. A 30-day chart splits successful calls from failed ones, and below it every request is listed: time, endpoint, query, the provider that actually answered, status, latency, cost, and the calling IP, location, and user agent. You can filter the list on those fields, which is the fastest way to answer “which provider is slow” or “what is that key doing.”

Rows that cost nothing are marked free – a cache hit or a failed call. The summary line above the chart tells you how many of the last 30 days’ requests came straight from cache, and what you spent.

If you’d rather not open a browser, every API response carries an X-Balance-Remaining header, so a script or an agent can watch its own balance without a second endpoint.

Credits and rate limits

The balance is a dollar figure you draw down per successful result: $0.0008 for a /movie, $0.0004 for a /query, $0.0002 for a /random. Credits are deducted only on HTTP 200 – if an upstream times out, the code doesn’t exist, or the answer came from cache, you are not billed. New accounts start with a free limited trial, no credit card. Credit doesn’t expire.

Top up in any crypto, credited 1:1: top-ups from $15 roll up to +2%, and $50 or more rolls up to +10% – under $15 there’s no bonus.

The first top-up also lifts the throttle. Accounts that have never paid are capped at 10 requests a minute; paid accounts get 60. That cap is per account, shared across every key you’ve minted, so minting more keys doesn’t buy more throughput.

The dashboard home also carries copy-paste setup for the MCP server and the javinfo CLI, pointed at a key you already made.

If you’re already on RapidAPI

Both the dashboard and RapidAPI hit the same API, same providers, same response format. If you’re subscribed on RapidAPI, you can paste your X-RapidAPI-Key into Settings → API keys and link the account: you keep the RapidAPI plan and its billing, but call api.javinfo.dev directly, which skips the marketplace proxy hop. Requests then meter against the plan instead of your balance – and note that RapidAPI meters every call, so the free cache hits and free failures above are a direct-path thing.
